Where: Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, 321 Mercer St.

What: Finally, the hotly anticipated restaurant from former Microsoftie Wassef Haroun and his wife, Racha, fills our appetite for worthy Middle Eastern fare.
Why: The mainly Lebanese menu includes dishes such as red lentil soup with fried garlic‚ coriander‚ and cumin; minced lamb and pistachio kefta; and the best hummus plate in town.

What: The color-loving jewelry designer’s baubles pop up at A Mano.
Why: The latest oversize rose quartz rings, Indian ruby earrings, black onyx bracelets, and aqua chalcedony necklaces are yours for the taking (or giving).

Where: 1115 First Ave. (206-292-1767).

Like a Valentine
What: A 25-year survey of local ceramics star Jeffry Mitchell’s emotionally charged earthenware.
Why: At first glance, Mitchell’s oft childlike imagery (elephants, flowers, and fauna) seems lighthearted, but closer examination reveals complicated ideas on love, gender, politics, and religion.
When: Thru Jan. 27. Wed., Sat. & Sun., 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Thurs. & Fri., 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Where: Henry Art Gallery, 15th Ave. NE, at 41st St. (206-543-2280).
