Eat Your Heart Out at Red Cow

Indulge in classic French food until the cows come home

red cow!

You’re always ready to mangia where Ethan Stowell is concerned.

This time around, the dining mastermind’s Red Cow speaks to your taste buds with a French accent.

We’re already planning regular visits to the Parisian-style brasserie to try steak frites six ways. Choose from robust cuts of hanger, chuck roast, New York strip, filet mignon, boneless rib eye, and bone-in rib eye for two, plus sauces (bearnaise, compound butter, red wine reduction, horseradish cream) to accompany each dish.

Whet your appetite with starters such as beef tartare, roasted marrowbones, and oysters on the half shell, as well as daily charcuterie. Make room for veggies like Brussels sprouts topped with bacon and caramelized onions or frisee with a poached duck egg.

The Madrona joint has style to spare: exposed concrete walls, a zinc-topped bar and tables, black bentwood chairs, and gray leather banquettes, situated around an open kitchen.

It’s the talk of the town.
