Remember this Kodak moment?
You were in the kitchen baking brownies, Mom had the cutest smidge of flour on her nose, and Bing Crosby crooned in the background.
Actually, that was an episode of Leave It to Beaver. The only time your mom spent in the kitchen was while looking through take-out menus.
But somebody’s been living out your baking fantasies. Mother-daughter team Sue and Melissa Rand, along with family friend Trina Beaulier, have turned ’50s sitcom lore (they started in their kitchen) into a chocoholic’s American Dream with Simply Divine Brownies. And their goods are now available online.
The brownies come in three sizes: petite Cherubs, Massive Brownie Bars, and Brownie Boards. (Under no circumstances should you be left alone with that last one.) A wicked array of flavors includes chocolate peanut butter, caramel, and s’mores.
The gooey, rich sweetness will take you back to the time you and your best friend, Ethel, had to grab as many treats as possible as they flew by on a conveyer belt.
Whoops. There you go again.
