Ring It On

Maestro, cue the high school fashion highlight reel, please.

Scene One: Freshman-year sleepover (mammoth scrunchie, connect-the-dots Clearasil).

Ouch. Fast forward.

Scene 57: Senior prom (Jessica McClintock ruffles, mom-mandated hose).

Okay, cut the lights. So maybe high school wasn’t your sartorial high point.

But even you knew to steer clear of those gaudy class rings. Until now: Local jeweler Sally Brock has unveiled her blessedly un-Jostens-like baubles.

Understated with a touch of attitude (not unlike your teenage self), the whimsical line includes Class Bling (dainty bands set with semiprecious birthstones), Numero (bold geometric shapes etched with your graduation date), and Alice Cooper (a take-no-prisoners band engraved with the rocker’s end-of-school anthem).

All can be customized and are totally affordable.

Uh oh. It’s almost enough to inspire a trip down memory lane.
