Truth and Consequences

Organic Spring Collection

Friend asks if you noticed her zit.
You think: What, Mt. Vesuvius on your chin?
You say: “Nah. Can’t even see it.”

New flame asks if you liked his buddies.
You think: Dude. One had on a Scooby-Doo tee.
You say: “Of course. Love that you’re so bonded.”

Tired of beating around the proverbial bush? You’ll appreciate Organic, a breezy new line that gives it to you straight.

In keeping with its unvarnished moniker, the company doesn’t mess around with chemical dyes or synthetic fabrics. Hand-crocheted cardigans are earthy (not crunchy) and double-layered dresses are feminine (not frilly). But our hands-down favorite is an eyelet tunic, so sweet it’s bound to have admirers cutting to the chase.

Given all that TLC, prices are surprisingly reasonable. Not that money is everything when shopping with a conscience.

But, come on, let’s get to the point.

Collection arriving now through mid-April, at Mario’s, 1513 Sixth Avenue (206-223-1461).
