Yo Mama’s Nonfat
Yoberry Frozen Yogurt

You lost your faith in healthy frozen treats long ago. Tofutti Cuties? The toots they induced were not so cute. Skinny Cow? After eating a whole box in one sitting, you felt like a bloated manatee.
But there’s a reason to cheat on Ben & Jerry’s: Yoberry, downtown’s new frozen yogurt shop with seriously tasty, legitimately healthy dessert.
Inspired by L.A.’s Pinkberry (and its Korean forbearers), the teeny spot serves just two 100 percent natural, nonfat flavors.
Choose plain (refreshingly tart, like yogurt) or antioxidant-rich dragon fruit (delicately sweet, with Asian cactus plant and pomegranate), then top with chocolate chips, mochi, or all kinds of fresh fruit.
Open only weekdays, it’s tucked away in a nondescript food court, so the ambience isn’t much. But you’ll find your sweet tooth satisfied — without any Splenda, bean curd, or weird chemicals.
After all, you’ve never been one to fake it.
Yoberry, 823 Third Avenue, at Marion Street (206-321-7404).
