Guitar Teacher Brendan Bosworth

Fantasy Football. Bathroom humor. Jessica Biel. Ninety-nine percent of the time, you find your guy friends’ obsessions lamer than lame.
But Guitar Hero? There’s an outstanding exception. (You’re not above buying beer or arm wrestling for your turn.)
Go them one better by learning to play the real deal from Brendan Bosworth, school of rock professor extraordinare.
When not playing with local bands (Dolour, The Thieves of Kailua, Josh Ottum) or his own project (Love in Space), Bosworth makes like a traveling musical virus, infecting kids, teens, and adults with his love for the guitar.
Well-versed in rock, blues, and jazz styles, he believes music should be fun, not stressful. No (real or virtual) experience necessary: You just have to be at least 5 years old.
Arrange a solo lesson in his Central District studio and work up to joining group jam sessions. Geography willing, he can also meet you at home.
Or, as it will henceforth be known, your play station.
