Winter clothes, schminter clothes. If you could, you’d wrap yourself in a blanket and leave it on until spring.

Pity about the company dress code and personal hygiene.

Here’s a close second: Seattle-based Alula’s cozy mitten dress.

The sweet belted knit dress has mittens discreetly attached to its sleeves (we know: so cute). Flip the mitts over your hands when absolutely forced to brave the elements; transform them into cuffs once you’re back where you belong.

It’s part of the label’s second collection — inspired by our fair city’s darker seasons — of warm fabrics and autumnal Northwest colors (emerald, maize, scarlet).

Start with the dress, then move on to slim tweed trousers, a tweed apron, and the slouchy New Favorite Hoodie.

You’ll be snug as a bug in a rug.
