Mommy Dearest
Diane’s Market Kitchen Cooking School

Some moms pass down time-honored skills (baking, hospital corners, stain removal).
Yours didn’t happen to be one of them.
Not that you’re complaining. Someone had to teach you to walk in heels and mix the perfect G&T.
You can pick up the rest at Diane’s Market Kitchen, an intimate Post Alley cooking school helmed by former caterer and PCC cooking instructor Diane LaVonne.
Jovial and easygoing, with a faint cookie smell, LaVonne takes clueless chefs under her wing. You start at Pike Place Market, where you learn to choose the best seasonal ingredients; then cozy up to her marble counter, where you’ll turn your bounty into simple, delectable meals.
Her goal: raising confidence in the kitchen. No question is too basic, there’s plenty of hands-on participation, and you’ll taste-test every step.
In other words, you’ve hit the mother lode.
