Out of This World Cake Recipe

You came, you shopped, you unwrapped. Now how to ward off a bad case of the post-holiday blues? By baking something super easy, delicious, and sweet like … well, you know.

Out of This World Cake

Ingredients
2 sticks of butter
1 c. chocolate syrup
8 Milky Way bars, chopped up
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 ½ c. all-purpose flour
1 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda

1. Preheat oven to 325º. Grease twelve-cup Bundt pan.

2. Sift together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.

3. Combine buttermilk, vanilla, and eggs. Set aside.

4. Melt butter, chocolate syrup, and Milky Way bars, either in a double boiler or your nuker. Stir until smooth.

5. Pour chocolate mixture into a mixing bowl. Whisk in sugar, then the buttermilk mixture. Stir in flour mixture.

6. Pour batter into pan and bake for about 90 minutes.

7. Let cool and cover in powdered sugar.

8. Never look at a candy bar the same way again.
