Tit for Tat
Old School Pin Ups Photo Shoots

That luscious hair. Those pouty lips. The fantasies about a tête-à-tête with Cary Grant.
Kid, you shoulda been in pictures.
Get the next best thing with a retro photo session at North Seattle’s Old School Pin Ups.
Step into Lance Wagner and Trixie Lane’s kooky, out-of-the-way studio and prepare to fall down a rabbit hole. Retro furniture conjures bygone eras (’50s boudoir, ’60s tiki lounge or bachelor pad), while vintage costumes (’40s bustiers, a gold lamé jumpsuit) recall fab fashions long past.
Lane, a burlesque teacher and hair and makeup artist, exposes your inner vixen; her husband Wagner, a longtime commercial photographer, uses soft lighting to show you at your best.
Military wives come in often and send tasteful shots to their boys in Iraq. It’s no wonder: The whole thing is surreal and kind of wonderful.
An affair you’ll always remember.
