In Treatment
Truce Spa Opens

Insecure? Just pinkie swear. Can’t decide? Break out the Ouija. Wondering who dealt it? ’Twas he who smelt it. (Duh.)
If only the world still played by elementary school rules.
Call time-out on grown-up concerns at Truce, the new spa opening (softly) today in The Westin Bellevue.
Though finishing touches are still underway, the Balinese-inspired sanctuary had us at hello. Bamboo and sandstone create a calming backdrop for facials using organic products. We really need the ashiatsu massage, wherein practitioners climb on the table and walk barefoot across your back. The small details — reflexology, stone shower floors, iPod docking stations in treatment rooms — set the place apart from the rest.
Truce also offers new Xtreme lash extensions and is the only place in Washington that carries Kevyn Aucoin makeup.
Which, for now, makes it king of the hill.
Truce, at The Westin Bellevue, 600 Bellevue Way Northeast, suite 400 (425-454-0622 or trucespa.com).
