Hire Calling

Blackbird Tees

hire me!

You’ve tried everything from stalking a potential boss to putting your pic on your resume. (As Dad said, “Honey, with that face, who wouldn’t hire you?”)

To no avail.

Desperate economic downturns call for desperate measures. At least that’s what Jody Dyer, creator of locally made Blackbird Tees, decided. Fed up with the freelance game, the former research assistant launched a line of job-seeking tees. Each has a tongue-in-cheek slogan and can be customized with your (real or fake) resume on the back.

Wear “I heart job offers” to spice up a meet and greet. Throw on “You should offer me a job. Look how creative I am” while holing up at Herkimer. Or dispense with all dignity by sporting “Hire Me” to your high school reunion.

Each is made from quality cotton and fits well. So people will know you’re not a bum.

Just, you know, vocationally challenged.
