Dear Scampo,

We’ve heard about those recent break-out attempts. Looks like you finally made it out, you tease. We’re sending this letter to your latest known whereabouts.

Let’s cut to the chase: We need to see you. Just knowing that you’re out makes us crave those dishes we’ve heard about. The lamb pizza. The spaghetti with hot peppers and cracklings. The mozzarella with the tiniest hint of smoky pepper. The suspense truly is killing us.

Look, we promise not to give you up. Just let us into that copper and brick-walled dining room and give us a glimpse at that open kitchen with raging brick oven. We won’t tell the fuzz about your notorious lady lobster, handmade pasta, or Friday night special suckling pig (like we’d let anyone else have it).

It’s all we can think about.
