Remedy the situation by adding a little Turkish Delight (Edmund Pevensie’s favorite treat) with Turkish designer Asli Filinta’s tees and tanks.

Filinta’s work pays homage to both her homeland and New York (where she recently moved). Her plain gray, white, and black tees are pure Americana, but the extras — ribbons, embroidery, gold buttons — come straight from Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar.

The ribbon-shouldered white tank turns a staple into a standout. A plaid bow gives a tee some added sauciness. And keep an eye out for her incredible scarves, arriving in May.

All in all, the collection will add a touch of the exotic to any wardrobe.
