TeachStreet Class Finder Launches

To the outside world, it looks like your only hobby is watching Top Chef with a pint of B&J.
But deep down you’ve got a heartbreaking love song, knitted bootie, mean volleyball serve, and Rothkoesque masterpiece all clamoring to get out.
Find the Annie Sullivan to your Helen Keller at TeachStreet, a newly launched Seattle-based website that hooks you up with more than 25,000 local classes at a variety of establishments.
The site works like a virtual bulletin board, wherein anyone can post information about any kind of lesson on offer, from tennis to Tantra. We scoped surfing, hip-hop, fashion photography, woodsmithing, and more.
We predict the free, easy-to-use beta site will only get better as time goes on.
Which is more than we can say for that couch.
Available online at teachstreet.com.
