All Volunteery Eyed

Seattle Works Volunteer Projects

work it out!

You job search while at work. Channel surf while watching cliffhangers. And slip the waiter your number when your date’s in the can.

Monogamy has never been your bag.

So dip a toe into volunteer work and get involved with Seattle Works. The nonprofit helps twenty- and thirtysomethings volunteer across town without long-term commitment.

Sign up for a one-day project (painting a school, stocking a shelter, cleaning up a park) or a month of consecutive Saturdays. Seattle Works also holds leadership-training seminars, which encourage supporters to become nonprofit board members.

Join DailyCandy for a day of volunteering on Saturday, May 31, at a South Park organic farm or sign up for Seattle Works Day, a city-wide clean-up, on Saturday, June 7.

Judging by past behavior, you’ll always make time for a quickie.
