You whip up animated PowerPoint decks with your eyes closed. And you’ve got mad skills at Photoshopping profile pics. But if presented with construction paper, glue, and scissors, you’re at a total loss.
But our pal Rayburn Nichols Hanzlik knows exactly what to do with them. The creator of R. Nichols stationery is putting original art pieces that he’s made with just paper, glue, and scissors up for sale today at 3 p.m. EST, and it’s going to be as nutty as a Vera Wang bridal sale.
The four-and-five-eighths-by-six-and-a-quarter-inch collages feature the same whimsical sensibility as his note cards, only they’re more vibrant and one of a kind. Each work is signed and comes unframed. The subjects vary from his recognizable lanky silhouettes to flowers to seahorses (our fave).
