Watsu Pool Therapy

The conversation, the empanadas, a date’s lap: You usually dive right in.

Relax already and take time for second thoughts during a Watsu session with certified practitioner and LMP Laura Srygley.

A blend of Shiatsu, massage, stretching, and dance practiced in a pool (heated 94-97 degrees), Watsu alleviates pressure from the joints, spine, and muscles; improves blood circulation; and creates a relaxed, meditative state.

Srygley’s sure hand moves a client’s body (which remains at rest and afloat) into a variety of postures intended to increase range of motion and decrease muscle tension.

So suit up and wade in.

It’ll prevent you from going off the deep end.

Laura Srygley (206-250-2094 or watsuseattle.com).
