Lasagna Cook-Off and Benefit
What: Ethan Stowell challenges the pasta mastery of thirteen Seattle chefs (including Sorrentino’s Mamma Enza and La Spiga’s Sabrina Tinsley). Tickets include all-you-can-eat lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and beer, and benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Why: Watch them layer their claim to fame.

The Beer Authority Grand Opening
What: Swing by Lake City’s new brewski and wine shop for discounted bottles, samples, bites, and brewers from Trade Route Brewing Company (Sat.) and Lazy Boy Brewing (Sun.).
Why: Three hundred bottles of beer on the wall.
