Act two, scene one: The protagonist reemerges revamped, renewed, relaxed (quite the costume change).
And is that a pinball machine?
Formerly Artemis Cafe, new hotspot The Lookout opens tonight (at 8 p.m.) after a stylish remodel. Though the ownership remains the same, you’ll find the fine-dining post has chilled out, serving casual bar foods like chile verde, muffaletta, and burgers paired with local and imported beers and a creative cocktail list.
Expect art by street artists NTG and NKO on the walls, a jukebox, and an amazing back patio with a panorama of Lake Union, Queen Anne, the Space Needle, and, at the right hour, sunset.
The view is truly dramatic.
The Lookout, 757 Bellevue Avenue East (206-860-2752 or thelookoutseattle.com).
