House of Pane

Ventana Restaurant Opens

ventana restaurant!

You saw a lot of action this summer of love. And, quite frankly, your pervy peepers would benefit from some Windex (ouch).

Instead, feast your eyes on delicious food and views at Ventana (Spanish for “window”).

Chef Joseph Conrad (Qube, Secret Stash Sea Salts) crafts soul-stirring plates like bone marrow gratin with salsify, Carlton Farm’s pork spare ribs with minted watermelon salad, and a house-cured bacon confit BLT topped with heirloom tomatoes and lemon aioli.

Sit at tables made to look like windows or at the copper-wrapped bar sipping Plum Havanas, a $5 mojito-like cocktail made special for DailyCandy readers (it’s not on the menu) by bartender extraordinaire Armin Moloudzadeh (Bastille Cafe & Bar, Black Bottle).

Then find something to feed your hungry eyes.
