“Fashion over function” was always your motto. Until you became a new mom. Reclaim your style with some helpful advice from local personal stylist Tiffany Wendel.
Never underestimate a white button-down. The well-tailored variety flatters changing figures (especially when you’re a bit more full on top) and provides easy access for nursing moms.
Ride the leggings trend. Riding leggings in particular look sleek, even on imperfect figures. And the stretch means they’re comfy enough to wear all day.
Styled sweatshirts are a mommy must. Go for a nicely detailed sweatshirt made of soft material but cut like a chic blazer. Nice enough to pair with jeans for your first playdate but equally suited for spit-up incidents.
Splurge on the right bag. Finding a hot purse that’s functional as a diaper bag might not be easy, so if you hit the jackpot, go ahead and spend. It’ll be worth its weight in formula.
