Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris
What: A rare chance to see works spanning the artist’s enormously influential eight-decade career.
Why: It’s the first time these gems have gone on a road trip. Who knows when it will happen again.

The much-lauded French choreographer/fashion designer/rock star Christian Rizzo kicks off the season with a sensual, thought-provoking performance.
Why: The mysterious dance spectacle features a man wearing a bunny mask and suit and a lady in black stilettos.

Sip your way through four courses of mixologist Murray Stenson’s classic cocktails (Blanquette de Limoux with St-Germain, Yellow Chartreuse and Pacifique Distillery gin) during Cafe Nordo’s newest dinner-theater series.
Why: Billie Wildrick performs as a lusty lounge singer with an original jazz score by Annastasia Workman.
When: Thru Nov. 13. Thurs., 8 p.m.; Fri. & Sat., 8:30 p.m. (Doors open half an hour earlier.)
