Local artists Elias Hansen, Victoria Haven, Isaac Layman, and Maki Tamura show off new works commissioned for Open Satellite’s annual limited-edition collection.

Wild Turkey Day Dinner
Simply add your own bird to chef Christina Choi and Dave Sanford’s (formerly of The Corson Building) fantastic holiday feast for six.
Why: The pros will make you look good with wild mushroom and sage dressing, parsnip mashed potatoes, and knoepfli casserole (made with a spaetzle-like noodle).

The Thai-Hawaiian food truck hits the road with tasty, island-style plate lunches.

Will Bake for Food
Get your hands on treats from 60 local food bloggers, as well as must-have edibles like Momofuku Milk Bar’s blueberries-and-cream cookies, Alderwood-smoked salt caramels, and Michael Chiarello’s orange and rosemary olive oil cake.
Why: Exchange nonperishable canned goods for snacks whipped up by cookbook author Becky Selengut, Seattle Food Geek Scott Heimendinger, and others. All donations will benefit Northwest Harvest.
