Drunken proclamations and racy text exchanges do not a cultured V-Day make.
Get highbrow — on the down low — with a Love Is Art painting kit. A nod to 1960s artist Yves Klein (who transformed nude models into human paintbrushes), artist Jeremy Brown’s take-home project encourages couples to similarly strip down and express themselves.
To help you do the deed: a blank white canvas, nontoxic black paint, a plastic drop cloth, and two pairs of paper slippers to protect your boudoir (let’s keep it mostly clean, kids).
The resulting libidinous Rorschach may just warrant an induction into the canon of art history.
All you’ll need is love.
Available at Kai Lin Art, 800 Peachtree Street, suite d, Midtown (404-408-4248); online at loveisartkit.com, $50. Through February 14, 15 percent of sales benefits youth arts program One Love Generation.
