    Where’s Your Head At?

    Gina Foster Millinery

2007 has just begun, yet your diary’s already crammed with parties, weddings and social engagements. Your spring/summer wardrobe, on the other hand, isn’t quite as full.

    Don’t be a head case.

Or, in fact, do: milliner Gina Foster (the daughter of royal portrait artist Richard) likes nothing better than a creative emergency. After an initial consultation, Foster (who trained under Stephen Jones) will design a bespoke hat or headpiece; or choose from her ready-to-wear range from £40.

Foster crafts traditional styles, including ’50s-esque headbands, Jackie O pillboxes or elegant saucer discs, all of which can be trimmed with elegant feathers, statement bows and delicate netting. Colours like raspberry, teal, violet and chocolate can be combined to match clothing and accessories.

Sport one of Foster’s designs to your next gathering and you’ll easily get away with wearing one of last season’s outfits.

    Hats off to her.

    Sex on Legs

    Kova & T Clothing

Got a killer party to go to?

Dress the part with Kova & T, a hot new range of clothing from childhood friends Dasha Zhukova and Christina Tang, which arrives in London today.

Much hyped due to its designers’ high profiles — Tang’s an L.A. groovster, whilst Zhukova has been linked with Roman Abramovich — Kova & T (as in Zhukova and Tang) is a label to watch.

But it’s not for the fainthearted. Sharp tailoring and stretch fabrics combine the sexy and the sporty, with an ounce of sophisticated slut thrown in. Untreated denim jeans are butt-achingly tight; high-waisted shorts are prim and playful. The Oxy latex leggings are another must-have (Kate Moss wore hers to Glastonbury), alongside sleazy-peasy tees and vests.

    Wear if you dare.

    Die if you don’t.

    Available at Harvey Nichols, 109-125 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7RJ (020 7235 5000 or harveynichols.com). To see styles go to kovaandt.com.
