Oh, Dear!
Dear Clark Hair Studio Opens
Dear Dear Clark:
How do we love thee? Let us count the ways.
1. Your much-anticipated hair/lifestyle studio opens tomorrow (Valentine’s Day) just in time to get us out of our hairy situations.
2. You’re owned and operated by the two best stylists in Dallas (Holly Dear and Kaycee Clark).
3. You’re open till midnight. Can we really book an appointment for 11 p.m.?
4. Each client gets a file with before and after pics.
5. The online booking option rocks.
6. Your lively tomato and white mod decor makes us want to hang out all day.
7. You carry two of our favorite haircare lines, KMS California and Kevin Murphy.
8. You’ve recruited four talented colorists and sixteen key stylists.
All of which brings us to our real point …
Will you be our Valentine?

Wax Poetic
So René Spa & Boutique
Things have gotten a little hairy lately.
Literally.
Time to suck it up and give Sandra Fowler-Sebag a shout.
The aesthetician, who has a cult following for her meticulous bikini and eyebrow waxes, is so in demand that she ditched an eight-year run at Avalon Salon and Spa and opened her own digs.
Dubbed So René Spa & Boutique, the one-room retreat has a laid-back vibe perfect for lightening the mood during those Brazilian moments. If waxing isn’t your forte, the spa’s menu also includes facials, microdermabrasion, lash tinting, and body wraps.
Don’t miss the tiny boutique on the way out. The stash of affordable indie fashion labels is almost as rare a find as Fowler-Sebag’s waxing skills.
So once you’ve bared it all, you can cover it up in style.
So René Spa & Boutique, 5917 Sherry Lane, suite 201 (214-356-2321 or sorenespa.com).
