DClutterfly Organization Service

Exhibit A: One (1) old tote filled with half-opened mail and stolen Splenda packets.

Exhibit B: Three (3) shoe boxes stuffed with odd receipts, random ticket stubs, and miscellaneous papery bits.

The evidence is stacked against you.

Take the fifth and call DClutterfly. In your home or at the office, Tracy McCubbin makes fast work out of incriminating mess.

During your consultation, decide what needs to go, what must stay, how much you can do on your own, what McCubbin can do with you, and what you’d like to leave entirely to her. She specializes in creating realistic, workable solutions so that you can keep the situation under control with minimal effort.

And steer clear of a life of unorganized crime.

homeward bound!

Your Place or Mine?

NK Interiors Shop Opens

Considering the state of the dollar, you may have to say au revoir to that Paris trip.

Or any trip for that matter, mon ami.

Except perhaps to NK Shop. The new interior store brings furnishing and housewares from Paris — and other destinations the world over — to you.

With an aesthetic that is at once rustic and refined, Amy Kehoe and Todd Nickey’s carefully curated shop is a treasury of functional antiques; sophisticated vintage; and handcrafted, responsibly-made, contemporary wares.

Check out the earthy-chic dishware by White Forest Pottery, merino wool scarves from Wales, and tea-scented candles by Mariage Frères. Lounge on the late-19th-century settee, reupholstered with a Moroccan rug. Decide that the pillows made from the silk of Japanese obis have a certain je ne sais quoi.

In fact, you’d bet your bottom dollar on it.

NK Shop, 730 North Highland Avenue, between Waring and Melrose Avenues, Hollywood (323-957-0370).

Really, You Shouldn’t Have

Venokado Wine and Gifts Boutique Opens

Your friends think you know them so well.

At least well enough to know you’d find perfect presents at Venokado.

In what was once a dumpy mini mart on Fountain, the new wine and gifts boutique takes a modern, curated approach, from the polished concrete floors to the wall of wine — and all the design objects, housewares, beauty products, and kids’ fixings in between.

Stop by en-dinner-party-route for a bottle of red and Riedel glassware to go with or wrap up gorgeous candles, horseshoe game sets, or art books.

Can’t decide? Let the experts assemble a multigoodie box per budget and recipient’s likes.

They’ll surely say you shouldn’t have, but they’re glad you did.

Even if you didn’t.

Venokado, 7714 Fountain Avenue, between North Spaulding and North Genesee Avenues, West Hollywood (323-850-1600 or
