Strut Fashion Boutique Opens
Jersey, cheap, and small are descriptors for a date from hell.
Unless it’s at Strut, a new Lovers Lane fashion boutique by way of Austin.
The trendy shop (graphic wallpaper, animal-print ottomans, white tulip tables, a plum suede checkout counter) is owned by the same people behind ATX’s Strut and Caroline’s clothing stores.
Our version is a hybrid offering everything from edgy pumps to cozy, chunky sweaters. Some of the labels may ring a bell (Esley, Rock Revival denim), but most fly under the radar. No matter since styles average about $40 and cover preppies, hipsters, and hippies with minidresses, leather booties, and lacy tops.
It’s hard to leave the accessory sections empty-handed with the heaps of affordable cocktail rings, beaded necklaces, graphic scarves, and studded hobos.
As in the bag, not Hoboken.
