Adam McDermott and Chad Kushner Linus Bikes We were bike curious until we found these guys' lo-fi, high-style two-wheelers. Inspired by everyday roadies from vintage French films, the cycles inspired us to take to the streets.

Popping wheelies is totally rad. But when it comes to choosing a bike for getting around town, tricks are for kids.

With that in mind, consider Linus.

Inspired by French styles from the ’50s and ’60s, the elegant new bicycles are very grown-up. Channel Anna Karina or Jean-Paul Belmondo riding home from a wine-soaked picnic in one of four streamlined models.

The one-speed Roadster Classic is poetry in motion: no cables, light as a feather. If your daily commute includes hills, opt for the three-speed Roadster Sport. With a curved frame and upright seat, the Dutchi is meant for serious cruising.

Race for simple yet functional canvas accessories like double-sided farmers’ market bags and small pouches for keys and a wallet.

Check out the bikes in person at the Venice showroom.

Guaranteed to make your head spin.
