An Eye for an Eye

Tranquileyes Goggles

Love flying!

Who wouldn’t? Recycled stale air, bad movies, $5 for crap wine … Arriving at your destination with every long mile etched on your face.

Spritzing with facial mists and chugging liters of Volvic can only do so much. And they do little for your eyes, which suffer the most. The best way to stay spry at 30,000 feet? Tranquileyes.

Never mind the goofy name: The padded goggles work. Just dampen the inserts, pull the soft band over your head, and recline (as far your seat allows). Sure, your fellow passengers will ogle the weirdo with the buglike savoir faire. But Tranquileyes are strangely chic (dig the metallic colors) — and they’ll certainly keep chatty Cathy in 24B from, er, bugging you.

Heaven knows she won’t be as bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as you when you land.
