Get Crazy with The Go Game Scavenger Hunts

There's an App for That

the go game scavenger hunt!

Problem: Boring birthday parties and lame get-togethers.

Solution: The Go Game, a just-launched app and website that creates clever, customized scavenger hunts in cities across the country.

Equipment: Two to five teams of up to five players each, an iPhone for every group (yes, you have to provide it), and a willingness to be a little nutty.

Method: Your group’s organizer uses an online dashboard to build a personalized game by picking from a list of locations, choosing a rating (from G to we’re-scared-to-ask NC17), and adding trivia questions about players.

Execution: Participants meet at a Go Game-determined spot, read the clues and missions sent to their phones, and spend the next few hours getting videos and pictures of themselves successfully completing assignments, finding leads, and answering questions. Possible tasks include dancing to an acoustic guitar performance in a coffee shop or ninja fighting on the steps of a church.

Results: Never a dull moment.
