The masterminds behind Georgetown’s M29 Lifestyle are blushing with pride over Bloom, a pop-up (open now through April 27) celebrating the 100th anniversary of the gift of the cherry blossom trees. The lifestyle boutique tapped thirteen designers to create keepsakes. Here are our picks for the pink ladies in your life.
Doll by Jess Brown, $140 & $225
Claim the “No. 1 Aunt” trophy with a rag doll made in collaboration with Japanese shop Atsuyo et Akiko. Not to be toyed with, the slender miss is ideal for bookcase display.
Friendship Bracelet by Mercedes Salazar Joyería, $8
You’re forever tying one on with your book club pals. Make it official with colorful accessories depicting DC’s four seasons.
Sun Hat, $180-$350
Tip your cap to Nana’s addiction to sunblock and cover-ups with a natty fedora. NYC-based milliner Tracy Watts adds zest with a flash of neon pink ribbon.
Corsage Pins by Llubav, $40
Thank your yogi for a winter of calming sun salutations with an ever-young, hand-stitched felt favor from the Peruvian fabric artist.
Soy Candles, $30
Treat your neighbor to some soy joy from L.A.’s Mine Design. Scents like peony, magnolia, English poppy, and — for a limited time — cherry blossom waft from each jar.
Beirn Bag, $550
Mom’s dying to forget she’s turning the big 6-0, but a Jenna bag with bright pink watersnake bow will remind her she’s as young as she feels. (Should your siblings agree to split the bill, everything will look rosy.)
Just like the blossoms, these items won’t last long.
