Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall? So JV.
Go varsity with 100 craft brews on tap. That’s the game plan at Los Angeles Brewing Company, where the rotating selection of seasonal suds (Big Swell IPA, Firemans Brew) falls into triple digits.
Not a beer belly? Ralph Verdugo’s (Club 740) new double-decker sports bar/restaurant has something for the whole team. Oenophiles score courtesy of a wine list that ranges from $5 glasses to $1,000 bottles, while California comfort cuisine wins points with both carnivores (Kansas City steak) and veg heads (veggie Bolognese). And there’s a dog valet (read: well-monitored patio), where even Fido can relax.
Housed in the old Bank of America office building, the 400-seat space could pass for a formal affair (restored marble tabletops, cracked glass bar) were it not for the nine eight-by-eight-foot flat-screens currently perma-tuned to March Madness.
This place is a total slam drunk, er, dunk.
