Gomez is at the center of the action behind glass walls. An initial brow consultation costs $75; follow-ups are $50. (A steep price to pay, but the face-lift look that results is worth it.)

Pop in for an espresso along with your shape shift or book another kind of quick change — Karma is one of the first D.C. salons to carry Schwarzkopf’s ten-minute hair color.
