Frustrated by the time and waste of cooking for one or two, twentysomething Ryan Hansan developed the fledgling dinner delivery service that sources ingredients, handles prep, and delivers boxes packed with fixings for home-cooked meals.
Menu options, which detail food sensitivities, required tools, and cooking times, are posted at the beginning of each week. Sign up online to order a night’s or week’s worth of labeled containers, easy-to-follow recipes, and list of contributing farms.
Recent dishes like marinated flank steak with mashed potatoes or Buffalo chicken tacos hit the table in less than 30 minutes. Spoiler alert: Two chunks of fresh chocolate chip cookie dough sweeten each delivery.
Hansan hopes to add on extras like a cheese plate and wine pairings; brunch-in-a-box looms large.
