Puree Artisan Juice Bar Launches Home Delivery

Liquid meals on wheels

Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Beets.
Beets who?
Beets us how we could adore Puree’s fresh juices more than we already do.

But orange we glad we can? As of last Wednesday, Amy Waldman’s Bethesda-based vegan shop delivers between Friendship Heights and Dupont Circle.

Not that her juiceteria isn’t a great place to hang. Puree makes juices to order, has kombucha on tap, and serves raw food treats like cocoa-flavored chia pudding. It also hosts wellness classes with special guests such as Dave the Raw Food Trucker.

But for busy city girls, weekly delivery is where it’s at. Sign up online and choose from organic concoctions such as the 22 Karat (full of carrots), Mean Green Lemonaid, and cleanses designed by detox guru Shannon Vaughn.

Order at least three sixteen-ounce tumblers ($27), and the goods arrive weekdays between 5 and 8 a.m. and stay fresh for three days.

Go ahead, fall in love with this service.

We see no reason you cantaloupe.
