The Capital Pride Festival
What:
Traditionally D.C.’s largest one-day event, the street fair earns its hype with myriad performance stages and dance tents.

Where: Pennsylvania Ave., b/t 3rd & 7th Sts. NW.

2013 Source Festival
What:
Feast on a buffet of new work from area playwrights, such as ten-minute plays, artistic “blind dates,” full-length dramas, and the crowd-pleasing Talent Show.
Why: After NYC, D.C. has the largest number of theater seats in the nation.
