In the mood for good Indian? Look for the nearest metro stop.
That seems to be the trend, anyway.
Metro-adjacent appears to be the preferred location for restaurateur Surfy Rahman and chef K.N. Vinod. The duo, who opened Indique right above the Cleveland Park metro, are now opening Indique Heights right above the Friendship Heights station.
The space has the same pretty colors, silks, and contemporary attitude as the original. And the menu features small plates of regional Indian cuisine, like tanjore moyal (rabbit) khorma, duck varatha curry, and dum ka baingan (spiced eggplant).
The lounge’s signature drinks and huge wine selection are likely to take you late into the evening.
Good thing transportation is never far away.
