Get your hands on a Jasseo, and that’s an affirmative. The handmade Italian leather clutches and shoulder bags look elegant (but not in a creepy politician’s wife way), edgy (but not in a chains-and-nails way), and a little vintage (but not in a musty yard sale way).

We’re partial to Poppy, a jet-black snakeskin clutch, and Barbarella, a mocha shoulder bag. But if you need something roomier, get the Bonnie Parker satchel, whipstitched in cognac.

The bags, which are named after classic movie heroines, are so sharp you may have trouble choosing one.
