There are two key lessons to learn from Dorothy: Small dogs make perfect accessories and the right pair of shoes can take you wherever you want to go.

Gidigio shoes were born out of this last idea. The easy-to-wear Italian footwear is super comfy, and there’s a style appropriate for just about any occasion.

Created exclusively for local shop Carbon, the fall line includes showstoppers like a vintage Mary Jane with wing-tip details that can be worn with a frisky miniskirt or a tailored business suit; a sleek lace-up flat boot that fits under or over jeans thanks to a side zipper; and the low-heel midcalf boot that’s inconspicuous enough to wear during the day yet sleek enough for nighttime romps.

In true wizard fashion, each pair is handmade and custom designed down to the style, finish, and color.

Sadly, ruby red is not an option.
