Angel on shoulder: Ice caps, rain forests, ozone. The least you could do is wear ecofriendly clothing.
Devil on shoulder: Embroidered burlap sacks from the craft market? Sounds like hell on earth.
Angel: Hello? Sustainable Collective by Convoy?
Devil: More coarsely woven hippie hemp crap?
Angel: Hardly. More like menswear-inspired corset vests, strapless cocktail frocks, and hooded tunic pullovers with hidden pockets.
Devil: Hell must be freezing over — it’s pretty jazzy. But it can’t really be good for Mama Earth.
Angel: Well, the fabrics are organic (cotton, bamboo, silks, recycled) and dyes are either nonchemical or low impact. They’re even made with a special dyeing process using tea and iron powder. Orders are shipped in 100 percent biodegradable bags. It’s all completely sustainable and good for the planet.
Devil: Okay. Enjoy your do-gooding. I’m headed down to Georgia, looking for a soul to steal.
