Calvary Women’s Services
What: Take the shelter your untouched leftovers (read: pie with fork marks doesn’t count). Bonus points: Cook and serve a meal on New Year’s.
Why: You think that pumpkin pie will keep in the freezer?

21st Annual Day of Service
What: Help the Washington DC JCC distribute more than 6,000 gifts to pediatric centers, homeless shelters, and nursing homes.
Why: It’s fun to play Santa.

Food & Friends
What: Sign up to work in the kitchen or deliver meals for the nonprofit that supplies food to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.
