Around midday, the urge for a quickie hits.
Not a secret rendezvous, but a heated affair with fast food.
For a fix you don’t have to feel guilty about, head to Good Stuff Eatery, the new Hill burger joint from chef Spike Mendelsohn of Top Chef fame.
Patties are made from local ingredients and include twists on the classic with toppings like pickled daikon and carrots or spicy chili with sour cream. Fries are hand-cut and sprinkled with rosemary and thyme. Frothy, old-fashioned shakes are made with homemade custard in flavors like toasted marshmallow and dulce de leche.
Once you’ve ordered, stop by the mayo bar (try sriracha or mango), then grab a seat outside.
This is a reason to get all hot and bothered.
