Captain Cook

CulinAerie Cooking School Opens

You’ve never been a big watcher of cooking shows. (Sesame Street doesn’t count, people.)

Consequently, your grasp of the food world is a little hazy. (“C is for cookie” is about the sum total.)

For help, turn to CulinAerie. The spacious new Thomas Circle cooking school offers demos and lessons in all aspects of food and drink.

Pick up knife skills, attend a couples’ night, or channel your inner Martha in cake decorating. The space is also equipped to host team-building events and Iron Chef competitions.

Those without the nerve to tackle cooking can stick with wine tastings and lunchtime seminars. But with the holidays on the way, you might want to learn your way around a kitchen.

Just in time to roast that Big Bird.

CulinAerie, 1131 14th Street NW, at Thomas Circle (202-587-5674 or
