To Feed or Not to Feed

Brabo by Robert Wiedmaier and Brabo Tasting Room Open

Act 1

The set: A farmhouse-style space decorated in blue and amber with a mix of wooden chairs and brown leather seats.

The scene: Diners pour into the cozy main room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some stop for cocktails at the hammered copper bar. Aromas of hearty Belgian/American fare tempt them to order items like grilled lamb with white bean puree and cumin Madeira sauce.

[Intermission]

Act 2

The set: A neighboring historic 150-year-old building with a crackling wood-burning oven.

The scene: Diners gather in the more casual Tasting Room to enjoy beer and wine by the glass or taste. Rustic dishes like wood-fired tarts with toppings of braised pork belly and caramelized onions or mozzarella and prosciutto set the tone.

The ensemble raises glasses in praise as it finishes a triple chocolate mousse terrine.

Curtain falls.

Bravo, Brabo.
