Pirates and scavengers are circling, poised to descend on the ultimate prize.
Treasury, from the owners of pop-up vintage shop Listopad, drops anchor tomorrow with an eclectic collection of clothes, shoes, and trinkets gathered from estate sales, road trips, and auctions.
The hunters will start in the tropics, a smattering of brightly colored dresses — an exotic Mandarin collar floral, a cinched-waist plaid shift. Pack purchases into straw totes or whittled leather sacks.
Only the strong-willed can avoid getting tied up in the rainbow of obi belts.
In lieu of pots of gold, they’re taking LA Gear sneakers of silver and rounding up jewels like the petrified peach pit necklace with yellow and white flowers.
Once conquests are complete, they’ll make merry while DJs spin.
You’ll be no plank Jane.
