The other night we had mind-blowing whoopie. Five times to be exact. Then woke up this morning and had some more.
You’re judging us, aren’t you? Eat it.
No, really. Take a bite of B. Hall, Baker’s whoopie pies. When she noticed times getting tough last year, former Hill staffer Beryl Hall started baking fluffy, lip-smacking treats using fresh, all-natural ingredients (Mexican vanilla, real maple syrup).
Flavors rotate with the seasons. Fall brings pumpkin with maple frosting and dark chocolate with fudge filling. Stock up for winter with festive red velvet. When Washington’s birthday rolls around, celebrate with cherry vanilla. Warm weather welcomes coconut and peach.
The tiny, pop-in-your-mouth snacks are the perfect pick-you-up.
Go on. Get some.

Since last summer when I served BHall's Whoopie's at a fundraiser, my friends keep asking where to get them. The only dispute is which flavor is the best! They are also just the right size. The beautiful packages will be shipped across the country to many friends and clients this year!

That photograph is so luscious, I want some Whoopie pies right now. I wonder if she'll deliver at midnight?

We LOVE these little darlings. They are just the right size, perfect for parties, after dinner dessert,a morning pick me up, an afternoon delight with tea , or a little something sweet with milk just before bedtime. They will be my favorite gift to send this year. After all, everybody needs a little whoopie these days.

In full disclosure, I know this b.hall. She is the best cook I have ever known. So when she decided to make whoopie, I couldn't wait for my tin. She had really outdone herself this time, I thought. Unfortunately, sitting on the front porch swing in the South, opening the tin, and trying out one whoopie pie led to almost finishing the complete lucious assortment before others in my household arrived to have a bite. I HAD cancer this past year. Had.. not..have. What could I send the surgeon, the staff, the oncologist, the radialogist who were my salvation and support system. Whoopie Pies!!! A perfect thank you and holiday gift. And then my daughter told me last week she might be getting married. I thought....no groom's cake-- just an assortment of whoopie pies. Then a tin for each guest to take home. I am sure a whoopie pie under the pillow brings the same benefits as a "piece of cake"-- that is if they ever make it under the pillow. I dislike ordering flowers and food for others as you can never be sure of the quality of the gift they will receive. With these whoopie pies you know! They are the perfect size, delicious, and sure to please both you and your friends.
