Some people return from traveling with an abundance of magnets. Others just bring back jet lag.
Suzie Gallehugh came home with a plan.
After ogling street style on trips to Europe and Asia, Gallehugh decided to start a jewelry line. So she flew to India, sourced materials, and learned about beading techniques.
The exquisite result is Suzie by Suzanna Dai, a line of bright, ethnic-inspired necklaces and earrings. Gallehugh hand-beads patterns of semiprecious gems and stones (coral, turquoise), adds a sprinkle of sequins, and mounts each design on black tulle. Then she adds a delicate organza tie.
Pewter earrings are tricked out with a shimmering gold infinity pattern. The red coral necklace gives a dose of holiday cheer.
Time to become a Dai tripper.
